On the January 31, 2015 episode of Exposing Faux Capitalism with Jason Erb, I discussed:
Publicity stunts, Donald Trump, Chuck Todd, Alex Jones, Christianity as an easy target, local churches shutting down, and the 2015 Index of Economic Freedom.

What a great way to discredit legitimate opposition to the Islamization of Europe and the protests of Germans in particular, against it.
While the organizer of the PEGIDA movement (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West), Lutz Bachmann, originally said the picture of him posing as Hitler was intended as a joke, only to quickly step down, I say it was a great way to discredit legitimate opposition while posing as a serious leader. Germany’s Deputy Chancellor said Bachmann is either “an idiot or a Nazi,” but he left out the third, and I’d say more likely, possibility — controlled opposition.

According to the Ludwig von Mises Institute’s 2012 IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt filing, it reported a total of $22,268,915 in assets.
We see then, how the promotion of Austrian economics is big business, and why its associates and founder, Lew Rockwell, are limited in what positions they will take on certain issues.
For example, Lew Rockwell and Tom Woods, if they even bother addressing it, still promote the official government conspiracy theory that 19 Arab-Muslim hijackers pulled off 9/11, despite the evidence put forward by some brave, but few, true anarcho-capitalists like Nathan Fraser of Live Free FM, or Onebornfree.
It is for this reason that Anthony Migchels, a true monetary reformer, pointed out that the Truth Movement was co-opted by the End the Fed movement, led prominently by Austrian School supporters, and that Tom Woods, specifically, has been at the forefront, in claiming to be anti-government, yet steering clear of truly controversial issues that would affect their lucrative business operations.
For those who still don’t realize the significance of an organization whose ideology is anti-government specifically seeking government recognition and regulation, let me explain it.
It’s not, as someone said in another thread, comparable to an individual American doing anything he or she can to reduce his/her taxes.
Unlike the Mises Institute, the average American taxpayer is being directly taxed whether they consent or not.
The Mises Institute, on the other hand, specifically entered into a voluntary agreement with the very government its founder said is “far worse than the mafia”.
Another excuse is the red herring of which of us hasn’t taken government services, which again, fails to recognize the distinction between the acceptance of goods and services provided by force and coercion, and voluntarily entering into a legally-binding contract with government, thereby accepting its authority.
Yet, I expect most defenders of the Mises Institute not to see any problems with this, which is a reason why the Austrian School will continue to serve as controlled opposition.

On the August 4, 2013 episode of Exposing Faux Capitalism with Jason Erb on Truth Frequency Radio, I interviewed Professor Kevin MacDonald.
Hour 1: Interview with Professor Kevin MacDonald on his recent articles at theoccidentalobserver.net.
Hour 2: The controlled opposition gold standard.
For my previous interview with Kevin MacDonald in December 2012, which was nearly 15 years in the making, see here.
On the March 17, 2013 episode of Exposing Faux Capitalism, I covered the following issues, among others:
My take on Oracle going off the air, fake monetary quotes, nature of money, gold and silver vs. paper, Congress’ power to coin money, Rand Paul’s filibuster distraction from not enough senators, Austrian economics controlled opposition & Syrian uprising.

“First hour guest, editor of Veterans Today, Gordon Duff, talked about a report of a combined fleet operation between the U.S. and China against an alleged unfriendly ET threat. According to Duff, aliens in underwater bases planned to call their motherships in and seize the entire Pacific basin, not unlike what was depicted in the movie Independence Day. Further, Duff said that the Majestic 12 documents were real, and various treaties were established with alien visitors. He also spoke about how the US has spent trillions of dollars developing advanced weaponry and technology, unknown to the public– one of his sources claimed America had built an interstellar craft as far back as 1972.“
His appearance came just four days after being a guest on the Mike Harris Show on Republic Broadcasting, where he said:
“About 30% of what’s on Veterans Today is patently false. About 40% of what I write is at least purposely partially false, because if I didn’t write false information, I wouldn’t be alive.“

On his August 2, 2012 broadcast (at 1:24:12), Lee Rogers revealed that he would be redirecting his efforts from producing a documentary entitled “False Patriots,” to possibly writing a e-book on the subject, which he said he planned to sell for $1.
Alex Jones will be one of the leading figures of any forthcoming book from Lee Rogers, as Rogers has been at the forefront of providing a critical analysis of Alex Jones in the absence of that from the overwhelming majority of the controlled “alternative” media.
I, for one, am looking forward to any such book from Rogers, as my own research has led me to conclude, as he has, that most of the alternative media is really controlled opposition.
