The Daily BellOn August 6, 2012, I published the article, Daily Bell, show us independent confirmation of your readership numbers, and then we’ll believe you.

As of November 18, 2012, we now have independent confirmation of their readership numbers, thanks to them adopting an “elite methodology” they had previous blasted — Alexa’s website rankings.

The independent confirmation shows conclusively that they lied about their readership numbers.

As of November 18, 2012, their “Certified Site Metrics” show that they only receive an average of 6,717 daily visitors and 14,800 daily pageviews. Projected out over an entire year, that would give them only 2,451,705 annual visitors and 5,402,00 annual pageviews — a far cry from the 17 million page hits they claimed in a single month after their Alexa ranking had tanked below 100,000.

I first blew the whistle on the veracity of the Daily Bell’s claims about its readership numbers in my January 1, 2012 article, I call bollocks on the Daily Bell’s reported monthly page hits.

Despite the mounting evidence against their claims, they continued to perpetuate their unfounded claims, and as recently as November 10, a regular Daily Bell reader tried defending their readership number claims, showing that people are willing to cling to obviously false claims, facts and logic be damned.

I don’t rule out the possibility that they reached 17 million hits in a month through deceptive means like pinging their own servers, but that would be as honest as me claiming I received a call from the President of the United States because I called myself with a Skype ID of “President of the United States.”

My question to the so-called alternative media is, now that it’s been documented that the Daily Bell lied, what will you do about it?

I predict that their readership will continue to go up, and that Lew Rockwell and Alex Jones will continue to link to their articles, thereby calling Lew Rockwell’s and Alex Jones’ own credibility into question, at least on the basis of having such well-funded, highly-rated sites, yet not mustering the basic resources to uncover what I uncovered myself on an unpaid, part-time basis.

Live Free or Die Radio

On the September 21, 2012 episode of Live Free or Die Radio with Lee Rogers, Lee revealed (at 25:37) that he was 99% sure that December 21, 2012 would be his last day on the air, after broadcasting since 2007.

That is a fitting date, when bogus predictions by various alternative media doomsday prophets will inevitably fail to materialize.

Lee Rogers announces a possible book exposing “False Patriots” and Live Free or Die Radio with Lee Rogers is the most dangerous talk show in the alternative media.

Emphasis mine:

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.” — Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC – 43 BC)

English: Alex Jones outside Bilderberg meeting...

For someone who is, by his own words, allegedly one of the biggest threats to the New World Order, Alex Jones certainly has some high-powered connections into mainstream media, as mostly vividly demonstrated by his February 28, 2011 appearance on The View.

His June 8, 2012 Infowars.com article, Alternative Media Becoming Mainstream, may have been a sign of things to come, given this celebrity lineup in the two months since, as shown on his prisonplanet.tv show archives:

Richard Belzer – August 16
“Alex is also joined by actor, stand-up comedian and author Richard Belzer. Mr. Belzer has an expansive career as an actor and has appeared in NBC police dramas such as Homicide: Life on the Street and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

John Rocker – August 15
“On the Wednesday, August 15 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex talks with John Rocker, the retired American Major League Baseball relief pitcher who played for the Atlanta Braves and other teams.”

Dave Mustaine – July 26
“On the Thursday July 25th edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex airs an interview he recorded this past weekend with American virtuoso guitarist and legendary lead vocalist for the almost three-decade strong, highly influential thrash-metal band Megadeth, Dave Mustaine.”

Charlie Daniels – July 20
“Alex also welcomes back to the show to country and southern rock music legend Charlie Daniels.”

On his August 2, 2012 broadcast (at 1:24:12), Lee Rogers revealed that he would be redirecting his efforts from producing a documentary entitled “False Patriots,” to possibly writing a e-book on the subject, which he said he planned to sell for $1.

Alex Jones will be one of the leading figures of any forthcoming book from Lee Rogers, as Rogers has been at the forefront of providing a critical analysis of Alex Jones in the absence of that from the overwhelming majority of the controlled “alternative” media.

I, for one, am looking forward to any such book from Rogers, as my own research has led me to conclude, as he has, that most of the alternative media is really controlled opposition.

Live Free or Die Radio with Lee RogersIt’s billed as the most dangerous talk show in America, and Live Free or Die Radio with Lee Rogers is, in my view, certainly the most dangerous talk show in the alternative media.

Lee Rogers revealed that one time when he called into Alex Jones’ show, they deleted his call from the Infowars archive, while it remains in the GCN archive, which Alex doesn’t have direct control over.

The latest example of how dangerous the show is came when Alex Thomas of The Intel Hub cancelled his scheduled appearance on June 19, 2012. I think Alex Thomas was probably unaware of Lee Rogers’ outspoken criticism of Alex Jones, only to soon realize what he had gotten himself into, and had to bail out if he wanted to stay in Jones’ good graces and not be on his blacklist like Ted Pike, Jeff Rense, Michael Rivero, or, temporarily, like Jason Bermas and Texe Marrs.

Not genuflecting at the altar of Alex Jones can cause you problems if you get big enough in the alternative media, like when George Whitehurst-Berry‘s second-most-listened-to show among online listeners on GCN (only behind Alex Jones) suddenly came to an end after four and a half years, and his archives were immediately removed (an unprecedented action for such a long-running show).
