FireworksThanks to you, the readers, and Dr. Stan Monteith, for making May 2013 the most successful month in terms of total visits to fauxcapitalist.com, since being founded in 2008.

CNNHere is an April 18, 2013 CNN video of two raving conspiracy theorists on the Boston Marathon bombings.

The only thing is, they happen to be CNN broadcasters, wearing suits, so according to the public’s perception, that doesn’t make them raving conspiracy theorists, despite acting like them.

From their “analysis” (emphasis mine):

“The other backpack the other individual’s carrying looks heavy, too”

“We’re kind of thinking that maybe they’ve already planted one of the devices and maybe they’re walking away”

Maybe they’re going on their way to plant one”

“You could have both of these individuals carrying both of these devices”

“They might be on their way to one location”

The moral of the story is, if you’re going to spin conspiracy theories, do it from a supposed position of authority, so that the public won’t realize you for being the raving conspiracy theorists you really are.
