Kevin BarrettI recently came across this interview of Nolan Higdon of Project Censored on his critique of Alex Jones on the Kevin Barrett Show on October 28, 2013.

It is ironic that Barrett rushes to Alex Jones’ defense so much, given that a strong inference can be drawn that Jones was the reason for Barrett and Jim Fetzer getting the boot from GCN after Fetzer started talking about no planes hitting the WTC buildings on 9/11, and Barrett having previously blasted Jones in his article, Is Alex Jones a Complete Idiot? on March 11, 2013.

It is also ironic that the show page for the interview has the trailer for the 9/11 thriller Operation Terror, about the underreported events of 9/11, which was blocked by one or more individuals within Alex Jones’ operation, with them not even accepting advertising money.

Here is my summary of the interview:

4m – Barrett said if you add all things up about Alex Jones, it looks mostly good
6m – Higdon doesn’t say 9/11 was an inside job
8m – Barrett takes him to task for finding it odd that Jones is getting onto big shows like Hannity, etc., saying why not
9m – Jones’ bogus predictions that poison the well
10m – Barrett says almost all his reporting on 9/11 has been good
11m – Barrett brings up Michael Ruppert allegedly making more incorrect predictions
12m – Barrett saying Jones is doing a lot of good by waking up people
18m – Barrett taking exception with claim that Alex Jones is turning a lot of people off, saying we should see numbers
20m – Barrett justifying Jones’ repeated false flag predictions, saying it could’ve prevented some, and it’s drawing people’s attention to the tactic
23m – Higdon rightly asks, why doesn’t Jones do something about things — besides bull horning
25m – Higdon says people tend to ignore things because of sensationalist statements by Jones
30m – Barrett says Jonathan Kay is either a Mossad agent or a sayanim (unpaid agent)
36m – Barrett referred to “idiots who bash Alex Jones” for not reporting on the accurate things he says
37m – Barrett kicked off 911blogger for one interview with someone who questioned the Moon landings
41m – Barrett said we can be fairly sure Chavez was taken out with a cancer weapon
42m – Barrett said it’s legitimate that Alex Jones is afraid to criticize the Israeli influence in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
– Higdon said he didn’t have a strong opinion of any of Jones’ bias, saying it goes both ways with people having strong criticisms of him on that issue
44m – Barrett said he doesn’t think project censored is brave enough to cover James Petras on the Israeli-Palestinian issue
46m – Higdon said James Tracy ignored most of his sources
49m – Barrett said it was shocking that the article would only focus on negative aspect of Jones when the mainstream media was covering up so many important stories
52m – Barrett said for most of the past 12 years, the top stories on Project Censored aren’t the ones he would’ve chosen
54m – Barrett asked what if someone wrote an negative article about Project Censored
55m – Barrett said he thinks Alex Jones does a good job at what he does, and says he shares some concerns about what he does. Said if Jones wasn’t there, no one else would be reaching a mass audience.

USA PreparesHere a summary I prepared of my December 24, 2013 appearance on USA Prepares with Vincent Finelli:

4m – Gold coins have been used for 2600 years in a wide-spread way, since the Roman Republic
4m – 40% backing of the money supply by gold in the u.s. from 1914-1933, so for every $5, they had to have $2 worth of gold
5m – 1933 gold confiscation, where most didn’t comply, and that’s good, because it was under false pretenses
5m – 1974 – Americans able to own gold again, a big increase from them until 1980, then a 21-year period of decline until around $250 USD an ounce
6m – Gold and silver confiscation show how valuable they are
6m – Numismatic gold free from confiscation
6m – Platinum as the overlooked investment metal and currency
7m – Silver’s a tighter market than gold – 70% of silver comes from base metal mining, so even when economy’s not doing so well, silver can still have a great investment value, because of tighter supply
8m – With gold, the central banks own a lot of it, in total
8m – They may want to back up IMF SDRs or other currencies with gold at some point
9m – Gold being thrown away by not recycling gold in old computers
10m – The reason why gold and silver haven’t reached the true market value they deserve is because of the paper futures market, said to be around 100 times the amount of physical gold
18m – Physical gold and silver vs digits on a computer
20m – No substitute for having actual tangible value for exchange
30m – On cash – it’s recognizable and more likely to be exchanged for smaller items than gold, and gold would be better for appreciating in value to buy more later on
31m – Big risk with cash of hyperinflation, if govt doesn’t honour its debt commitments
32m – Silver at $20 an ounce looks like a good investment to me
35m – Bitcoins introduced in January 2009, theory underlying them goes back to at least 1996
35m – Nodes facilitating transactions and being rewarded with Bitcoins for doing so
36m – The pros — privately issued, decentralized, infinitesimally low transaction costs, high divisibility, international recognition
37m – The cons — if the internet goes down, your Bitcoins are useless, govts getting concerned over their hegemony to issue money
38m – Silk Road shutdown
38m – Public record of all Bitcoin transactions — could be tied into govt intelligence operation — a giveway would be if mass media starts really promoting Bitcoin
39m – China requiring all Bitcoin users to be registered
40m – Bitcoin providing a great educational opportunity, and a great way to make (or lose) a quick buck, as these currencies are reminiscent of the Dot Com Boom (and Bust)
47m – I think the name Bitcoin, with coin in the name, was deliberately used as a marketing tool, to connote more tangible value to them
49m – From Bitcoincharts.com, it was trading that day with around 30% volatility
50m – Major U.S. retailer, Overstock.com, plans to accept Bitcoin by the second half of 2014, but will continuously convert them into dollars, to limit volatility

My nominee for the 2013 Winged Lion Awards is George Whitehurst-Berry, and he had the show Crash! Are You Ready? on the largest alternative network, GCN, from 2007 until 2012, and he’s now broadcasting on the same network as I am, with the shows the Financial News Network and Sedona Dreams.

He had the second highest online listenership of nearly 40 shows on the network, starting in 2008, and he was the one who inspired Wayne Walton into his activism, from listening to his shows about successful government-issued currencies and how the banksters intentionally sabotaged them, reading from books he collected that were written in the 1800s and early 1900s, that couldn’t easily be found at the time.

He also brought to light the little known fact about the Bank of Venice, whose paper documents always circulated at at least a 20% premium above gold, and even went up to 40% above gold, until they were regulated to be less than that value. It also never had any major panics, and contrary to G. Edward Griffin’s false claim about it failing, it only terminated due to an external invasion by Napoleon.

He also gave me the chance to appear as a guest several times, and guest host many times, and provided me with my first radio appearance ever, back on October 1, 2008.

The Winged Lion Awards will be awarded during this year’s 9th annual UsuryFree week from November 13 to 18.

I helped to arrange the July 18, 2013 Lloyd Dale interview on Radio Liberty with Dr. Stan Monteith.

Lloyd Dale was a regular guest on the formerly long-running GCN show, the Voice of Reason with John Anderson, until John’s untimely passing in 2011.

It is my assertion that Lloyd and John presented the most accurate interpretation of biblical texts with regard to the identity of the serpent, the devil and Satan, and proper preterism, which was part of my inspiration in guest hosting Charles Giuliani’s January 1, 2013 Truth Hertz show on critically analyzing biblical doctrines.

In his interview, Lloyd talked mostly about the theory of evolution being bogus (with regards to macroevolution), and how he was fired as a high school biology teacher in South Dakota for pointing that out once he came to realize the flaws with the theory, as well as the radical agenda of those seeking to nationalize education in the United States and push a secular humanist agenda, and he discussed home schooling as an alternative.

Previously, I helped arrange interviews for libertarian interviewer Jan Helfeld, author Dennis Marker, Judge Douglass Bartley, financial analyst Joseph Meyer, Austrian economist Dr. Walter Block, and AIDS dissident Dr. Peter Duesberg, as can all be found here.

Stan MonteithI’m scheduled to be interviewed by Dr. Stan Monteith on Radio Liberty, May 7, 2013, from 6 to 7 PM Eastern, and you can find the listen live and archive links here.

I plan to discuss my thesis that Canada has become substantially more economically successful and free than the United States since September 11, 2001, specifically because of its adherence to U.S. constitutional and governmental principles, and its deviation away from Canadian founding principles of more centralized government.

Previously, I appeared twice before on the show:

November 3, 2011: Championed Canadian political success stories on Radio Liberty with Dr. Stan Monteith

September 30, 2010: Shot holes in gun control arguments on Radio Liberty with Dr. Stan Monteith

Previously, I helped arrange interviews for Dr. Stan with libertarian interviewer Jan Helfeld, constitutionalist judge Douglass Bartley, financial analyst Joseph Meyer, Austrian economist Dr. Walter Block, AIDS dissident Dr. Peter Duesberg and author Dennis Marker.

George Whitehurst-BerryHe’s back! — After nearly a year since his final April broadcast of Crash! Are You Ready? on the Genesis Communications Network, George Whitehurst-Berry will be back on the airwaves on Oracle Broadcasting, Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 9 to 11 PM Eastern.

While his radio presence has been relatively quiet, aside from a July 8, 2012 interview I conducted with him, he’s been actively blogging at Subotai’s Bow, and is looking forward to bringing real monetary information and alternative health to a new audience.

Every Sunday, find out why George Whitehurst-Berry had the second-highest-rated show among online listeners among nearly 40 shows on GCN for four years.

For George’s past work, see my articles here.

RadioHere is a ranking of top alternative radio networks, according to Alexa.com rankings, with their inception dates. Note that they are based on Alexa’s tracking of daily pageviews and visitors to the sites in the past three months, and don’t directly correlate to live listeners or downloads.

GCN isn’t included, since it’s no longer an alternative network, especially with the suspicious April 2012 cancellation of George Whitehurst Berry’s show, Crash! Are You Ready?, which regularly challenged the Rothschild gold standard, the AIDS scam and the germ theory of disease, which were all regularly propagated by top GCN personality, Alex Jones.

1) 117,092nd Republic Broadcasting (2004)
2) 263,466th American Freedom Radio (2009)
3) 342,458th Oracle Broadcasting (2008)
4) 458,278th Truth Frequency Radio (2011)
5) 620,293rd Orion Talk Radio (2011)
6) 782,123rd Liberty Radio Network (2010)
7) 3,653,372nd Renegade Broadcasting (2012)
