Tom WoodsFrom his January 30, 2014 podcast, Tom Woods said, in response to this January 25, 2014 New York Times hit piece against Rand Paul and Mises Institute associates like Walter Block (at 9:47):

“Basically, I don’t talk to the New York Times anymore. They write to me, they want some comment, I tell them no, I’ve been smeared by you guys before.”

Yet, five days after the article, Woods is still touting that he’s a “New York Times Bestselling Author” on the top of his website, and on his Facebook page.

If the New York Times is so bad and has been known to “smear” him and others like Walter Block and Ron Paul, why is he still touting their lauding of his authorship?

Art OlivierArt Olivier, Former Mayor of Bellflower, California, former Libertarian candidate for Vice-President of the United States and producer of the 9/11 thriller, Operation Terror, spoke about his $100,000 film being blocked by Alex Jones’ media outlet, on the January 21, 2014 episode of Exposing Faux Capitalism with Jason Erb, with the full audio here.

Art disclosed that in the six months prior to the release of his film on September 11, 2012, he had sent a copy of the film to Alex Jones’ staff, with them responding back that it didn’t work, so he sent another copy.

He said that they initially responded to him, but went quiet. Despite that, he followed up by contacting other film producers who had their productions advertised and sold through Infowars to contact Alex Jones’ staff, as well as regular guests of the show, and it was all to no avail.

Despite setting aside a large amount of money for paid advertising, they wouldn’t even take his money for ads on the websites or radio.

This despite Alex Jones’ aggressive promotion of the Loose Change documentaries and several 9/11 books, regularly discussing 9/11 on his radio show, and featuring an entire section on 9/11 on Infowars.com up until mid-2013.

A friend of Alex Jones and fellow radio broadcaster, Dr. Stan Monteith, has publicly stated that he knows of infiltrators who are planted close to some top figures in the conservative and liberty movement, but he doesn’t tell them, because they’d never believe him (8 mins. in).

Dr. Stan had previously disclosed his view — later to be proven correct — that Ron Paul’s campaign had been infiltrated by the other side, and Ron Paul was intentionally being kept off of alternative media outlets, including Dr. Stan Monteith’s show and even Alex Jones’.

After the campaign was over, Alex Jones publicly disclosed that Ron Paul’s campaign had been infiltrated but the matter had been cleared up, and Ron Paul was again allowed on the show.

Given that the evidence shows that Alex Jones’ show has been similarly infiltrated, I hope others will join in bringing this matter to the attention of Alex Jones and his listeners so that he can deal with the infiltration of his organization in a similarly expedient manner.

Other topics of the interview include Alex Jones’ handling of the Sandy Hook shootings and Boston Marathon bombings, his portrayal of “no planers” as mentally ill, and analyzing some of his particular behaviour during his Piers Morgan appearance.

Alex Jones’ friend and fellow radio broadcaster, Joyce Riley, rightly expressed concern over Alex Jones’ behaviour during his Piers Morgan appearance (starting 2 mins. in), regarding the impression he gave to average Americans of lawful gun owners.

Dr. Stan Monteith acknowledged that Alex Jones wasn’t actually angry on the show, and that it was “Alex being Alex”. However, despite Alex Jones’ most hardcore fans cheering him on as standing up to Piers Morgan and mass media gatekeeping and obfuscation, the question is, what impression did his behaviour have on average American viewers?

Jason disclosed that at a local Canadian libertarian gathering he had attended at the time, an attendee said that after seeing Alex Jones’ appearance, he was concerned about people like him having guns — which was the impression given to many average Americans, as well.

For more on Art Olivier, see this January 10 interview on the Real Deal with Jim Fetzer, where he discusses this issue starting 49 minutes in, and my earlier interview with Art, on May 26, 2013.

Health careFrom the January 8, 2014 article, Bosses shouldn’t ask sick workers for doctor’s note: OMA, in Canada’s largest newspaper, the Toronto Star, they falsely frame the sick note debate.

This is typical of the corporate-controlled mass media.

On one hand, we have the Ontario Medical Association president making the valid point:

“First of all, you don’t want to encourage people who have infectious diseases to go to their doctor’s office when it’s not necessary,” said Wooder, himself a family physician who has worked in Stoney Creek, near Hamilton, for 28 years.

And the other side makes a valid point:

John Kiru, executive director of the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas, said he respects an individual’s right to stay home to get healthy, but if someone is away for several days it’s entirely reasonable to demand a doctor’s note.

What’s completely left out of their framing, and deliberately so, is the issue of rationing.

Both sides, as presented, have completely legitimate positions, which are in tension with each other.

However, the true relief of this tension isn’t even being put on the table for discussion by the framers of the issue.

The true cure for this problem is allowing private funding of health care. Canada is one of only three countries — along with Cuba and North Korea — that don’t allow for individuals to pay privately for their own primary care.

Because it’s a fixed pool of resources, care must be rationed, instead of meeting actual demand through a market system.

Ironically, and what’s not mentioned in the article, is that doctors already can charge some money for writing sick notes, in addition to getting paid their customary fee through the public system.

That shows the unsustainability of a totally publicly-funded system for sick notes. A false solution may be provided to raise the amount that doctor’s can charge for such a note.

But what won’t be asked is why can’t we extend that to the entire health care system?

This is one of the many examples where the controlled, corporate media are deliberately framing an issue to restrict the debate to controlled outcomes.

For more on the proper see my article, Ron Paul right on health care: it’s not a right and it’s not a privilege — it’s a good.

Here are 10 questions I have for Lew Rockwell, founder of the government-regulated and tax-exempt Ludwig von Mises Institute, and founder of the purported “anti-state” site, LewRockwell.com:

Lew Rockwell1) Why did you enter into a voluntary agreement with the very same government you said is “far worse than the mafia?

2) When there were prominent voices asking for information about who wrote the racially-charged Ron Paul newsletters, with some pointing the finger at you, why did you engage in the very Washington-style politics you decry and provide little to no transparency and say it was “ancient history“, and a smear campaign?

3) Why did you excise the last paragraph from Paul Craig Roberts’ April 2008 article, “What the Iraq War Is About”, implicating Israel’s interests as the primary reason for the 2003 Iraq War, despite your webmaster posting it to his own site, antiwar.com?

4) When serious questions were being raised by 2006 about the official 9/11 government conspiracy theory, why didn’t you regularly give prominent space on your “anti-state” site to these voices, and aggressively question the propositions underlying the attacks that have most served to aggressively expand the power of the state?

5) Why do you regularly promote a so-called free market gold standard, when your most prominent writer, Gary North, admits that such a thing has never existed throughout history?

6) Why do you continue to regularly publish Gary North’s articles in light of him making claims like gold coins produced by the U.S. and Canadian Mints aren’t money, or can’t even be bothered to respond to fellow Austrian School associate, Walter Block?

7) Why are you selectively publishing Paul Craig Roberts’ and Michael Snyder’s articles? That is, when they make good pro-state arguments, why do you censor them like Saul Alinsky advocated, in not presenting valid arguments, even though they may undermine your case?

8) Why don’t you allow comments (potential negative criticism) on your site? (as of December 27, 2013, this remains the case).

9) Why did you say money is something you can use to buy things at Kroger’s (implying that government-issued currency really is money), despite making a career out of blasting government, and saying gold is real money?

10) Why did you claim that Murray Rothbard founded libertarianism, when the Merriam-Webster dictionary shows that it was a defined concept two centuries earlier?

English: This image is of economist Walter Blo...

On the February 24, 2013 episode of Exposing Faux Capitalism, I interviewed Austrian School economist Dr. Walter Block, and covered the following issues, among others:

Hour 1: George Whitehurst-Berry back on the airwaves, Jan Helfeld on Radio Liberty, my interview with Doug Newberry & satanic Superbowl half-time show. Hour 2: Interview with Austrian economist Dr. Walter Block on his book, “Yes to Ron Paul and Liberty.

Lew Rockwell Donate Screen ShotEither I hit their paywall, or my IP address was targeted because of previous hard-hitting articles I had written about Austrian economics, the Mises Institute, Gary North, Thomas DiLorenzo, Dr. Walter Block, Lew Rockwell, The Daily Bell and the infiltration of Ron Paul’s campaign, because as of December 31, 2012, I am redirected to their donation page every time I go to LewRockwell.com.

Deleting my cookies doesn’t help — it’s based on my IP address. Apparently they didn’t consider that there are ways of getting around this, and as a result, I will continue to write hard-hitting articles on the above groups and individuals.

While I give them the benefit of the doubt that it’s probably just a secret paywall and not a result of specifically targeting me, I also had given the Daily Bell the benefit of the doubt about their website numbers, only to uncover that they had lied about them.

Mike ChambersOn July 3, 2012, I wrote about Mike Chambers, host of Mike Chambers Live on Oracle Broadcasting, indefinitely being on hiatus since June 20.

Listeners to Oracle Broadcasting at 10 PM Eastern on January 3, 2013 were pleasantly surprised to hear Mike Chambers’ first radio broadcast in over six months, on Live Free or Die Radio,  and he announced he would also be hosting on January 3, and on some future occasions.

Shortly before his last broadcast, I called into his show about the infiltration of Ron Paul’s campaign.
