Joel Skousen

For an early preview of Joel Skousen’s World Affairs Brief, listen to Dr. Stan Monteith’s Radio Liberty program every Thursday, usually at 7 PM Eastern at gcnlive.com, and by archive here.

I first heard Joel Skousen on Dr. Stan Monteith’s show in 2010, and I became a subscriber in 2011, and I really appreciate the unconventional take he has on political and economic issues, especially with regard to holding prominent figures in the alternative media accountable for their consistently outrageous claims, such as Lindsey Williams, Benjamin Fulford and Doug Hagmann.

Webster TarpleyDespite Alex Jones getting very upset at Webster Tarpley for his criticism of Ron Paul’s campaign and economic policies during Bilderberg 2012, he’s invited him back on twice in the one month since then.

The prisonplanet.tv archives show Tarpley was subsequently interviewed on June 11 and June 29.

So much for not wanting to give Tarpley any more credibility.

On the June 7, 2012 episode of Radio Liberty with Dr. Stan Monteith, even before these two interviews, Joel Skousen said (at 8:39):

Of course, you know, you have to wonder what a person like Tarpley, spouting out all these government programs, is doing on conservative talk radio.

He later said (at 9:17):

I’m hoping, you know, that Alex will wake up and stop interviewing this guy.

To which Dr. Stan Monteith responded with:

If you notice, he is never on my programs, and I don’t mean that derogatorily towards Alex at all, but I have never trusted [Webster] Tarpley. I interviewed him one time, and that was all I needed.

We’ll be back in a just a moment here with Joel Skousen. And I would simply say be very wary of anything this gentleman — I’m speaking of Webster Tarpley — says. He’s a LaRouche follower, and Lyndon LaRouche was so far to the left, he even embarrassed the communists.

Speaking of Lyndon LaRouche, the prisonplanet.tv archives show he’s been invited on eight times since 2011.

Stephen LendmanDespite his articles being regularly featured on Alex Jones’ Infowars.com, Stephen Lendman has never been invited to be a guest on the Alex Jones Show, as this archive search shows.

Another glaring omission is that Lendman has also never been invited onto Coast to Coast AM, though that shouldn’t be surprising, considering he’s such a staunch anti-Zionist, and Coast to Coast AM has deliberately kept discussion of Zionism off the air.

The justification that Lendman isn’t well-known enough to justify an invitation on either show is definitely not the case, since he is a regular guest on Russia Today, which Alex Jones and Webster Tarpley are regularly featured on.

It also doesn’t hold that Lendman is too “left wing” for Alex Jones’ audience, since Webster Tarpley is repeatedly invited back, even after Alex Jones’ childish behaviour during his interview of Tarpley criticizing Ron Paul at Bilderberg 2012.

Instead of their listeners getting a fresh perspective, the usual suspects of both shows are repeatedly invited back. For more on some of who they are, see my article, The questionable guests of Coast to Coast AM.

Alex JonesOn the June 8, 2012 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex Jones said (at 14:15):

I’m not gonna sit by and be told I’ve got to worship Mitt Romney. It ain’t happening. And it’s not that I love Obama. It’s just that this trick has worn out here.

Yet, during Occupy Bilderberg 2012, when Alex Jones interviewed regular guest and fellow GCN talk show host, Webster Tarpley, he asked him, in response to hearing enough of his criticism of Ron Paul (at 9:37):

So Obama’s gonna save us?

Just a week later, Alex Jones admitted to using an establishment trick, when he tried to pigeonhole Tarpley as a supporter of the other party’s establishment-approved candidate.

His question was all the more ridiculous, since he knew very well that Tarpley had written the book, “Obama: The Postmodern Coup: The Making of a Manchurian Candidate,” and was not even remotely a supporter of Obama.

As I mentioned in my article, Alex Jones engaged in childish behaviour for the next 10 minutes because he didn’t like what Tarpley was saying, and a week later, indirectly admitted to using an establishment trick on Tarpley.

English: Radio host and documentary film maker...

During the Bilderberg 2012 meeting, Alex Jones interviewed one of his most frequent guests, and fellow GCN host, Webster Tarpley.

At the start of what became a one-hour and 20 minute interview, Tarpley gave his analysis of Ron Paul, and since it was something Alex Jones didn’t want to hear, he started acting childishly at the 9-minute mark.

Since 2011, I started writing about some of Alex Jones’ questionable guests (Dr. Steve Pieczenik, Pastor Lindsey Williams, Lyndon LaRouche, …) who are repeatedly invited back, as well as some of the questionable articles on Infowars.com. But it was on April 26, 2012 when I had finally heard enough to go public, and put myself on Alex Jones’ blacklist for daring to hold him accountable for his own behaviour, in a manner similar to the way he holds establishment figures accountable for their own behaviour.

Because Alex Jones didn’t like the way Webster Tarpley was hacking apart Ron Paul in the way Alex has let him hack away with impunity at establishment figures, he decided to act childishly, starting at 9 minutes in by raising the deliberately diversionary question, “so Obama’s gonna save us?”

It goes downhill from there over the next ten minutes, with Alex Jones using a childish voice and engaging in childish behaviour to try to steer Tarpley off-topic, which he didn’t fall for.
